Before the imposition of censorship by the Production Code in 1933, there was a lot of male and female skin revealed in the movies. Joel McCrea for instance did a nude swim

with Dolores Del Rio
in Bird of Paradise and lost much of his clothing when his ship was destroyed by a storm in The Most Dangerous Game. In The Sport Parade there are several locker rooms scenes including one in which, infamously, Gargan snaps his towel at McCrea’s rear end.
